Here’s an update on the restoration progress of the Cox House, located in the Dayton View Historic District. Built in 1905, the mansion was once residence of Dayton Daily News founder Gov. James M. Cox until he moved to Columbus to become Ohio’s governor in 1913. The home will be featured on the Dayton View Historic Home Tour this Saturday, May 20, 2023, from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. Tickets can be purchased at dvhd.org. TOM GILLIAM / CONTRIBUTING PHOTOGRAPHER
